Amicalola Falls, in Amicalola State Park in Georgia, was under stress when we saw it today. Normally, you can't get too close to the falls because the spray will drench you. Today, because of the extreme drought here, there was no spray whatsoever. In fact, instead of the water cascading over the rocks in a single sheet as it usually does, the depleted flow emerged over the rocks in a series of four weak streams. The folks here in this state are praying for lots of rain, and they should be.
Great new site if you want to know the status and impact of drought throughout the US. www.drought.gov.
The U.S. Drought Portal was officially launched on November 1, 2007. It was created to provide comprehensive information on emerging and ongoing droughts, and to enhance the nation's drought preparedness. The Drought Portal is part of the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS), which was recommended by the Western Governors Association in 2004 and enacted into law in 2006.

Does the four postings mean that I am four times the best sister or were you so excited that you couldn't control your fingers?
Either way you are my very best brother. That's true even if I had another♡
